ELICOS International Postgraduate Scholarships – Latin America

These International Postgraduate Scholarships are open to students from Latin America, the application of a degree program at the University of La Trobe University.

ELICOS scholarships and will be offered as a package – ELICOS+Degree – for study at La Trobe University.

Value

These International Postgraduate Scholarships are offered as an ELICOS tuition waiver only. Scholarships are valued at up to A$5400.

Eligibility

Latin AmericanInternational Postgraduate Scholarships students only
Students applying for ELICOS scholarships must apply in conjunction with a University degree program at La Trobe University.
ELICOS scholarships will be assessed ongoing (no deadline).
Students awarded an ELICOS scholarship must commence their degree program at La Trobe University after completion of ELICOS training.
Scholarships are for commencement of ELICOS in 2011 or 2012 only.
Up to 20 weeks free ELICOS will be provided, depending on availability and individual student requirements. Students who require more than 20 weeks ELICOS to reach the English language requirement of their course will be required to pay for ELICOS training above and beyond the 20 weeks.
Students must submit an application form to be considered.

Edward T. Conroy Memorial International Postgraduate Scholarship

The Conroy International Postgraduate Scholarship is one of the many programs administered by the Maryland Higher Education Commission’s Office of Student Financial Assistance.The children and spouses of fallen soldiers and public safety employees attending a Maryland postsecondary institution can apply for the Edward T. Conroy Memorial International Postgraduate Scholarship. The total dollar amount of all State scholarship awards may not exceed your cost of attendance, as determined by your school’s financial aid office, or $19,000, whichever is less. Awards to the sons, daughters or spouses of victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks may not exceed $19,000 when combined with any other International Postgraduate Scholarship received by a student based on the student’s status as a child or spouse of a victim of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
